Shayna Cook Inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers
Shayna Cook was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only premier legal association of attorneys considered by judges and peers to be among the best trial lawyers in the United States and Canada. The induction ceremony took place during the recent Annual Meeting of the College in Washington, D.C. on October 9-12.
Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only and only after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds, who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. Lawyers must have a minimum of fifteen years trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship.
Throughout her career, Shayna has represented multinational clients across a wide range of high-stakes product liability, intellectual property, and general commercial litigation matters. She has served as lead trial counsel in some of the most significant product liability trials in the country. In the past two years alone, she secured major defense verdicts for Monsanto in Roundup litigation and for GSK (formerly GlaxoSmithKline) in one of the first Zantac lawsuits to go to trial.
