Oren represents clients in complex civil litigation and arbitration. He has experience at several stages of litigation, including fact and expert discovery, motion practice, and trial. He has helped prepare key fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial. Oren has a particular interest in legal writing and cutting-edge procedure, and he has been the principal drafter of numerous motions and briefs. Successes on motions Oren contributed to include opposing complaints being dismissed, key trial witnesses being excluded or withdrawn, trial testimony being stricken, and multimillion-dollar mass arbitration invoice being rescinded.

Oren joined Goldman Ismail after clerking on the Seventh Circuit and Northern District of Illinois. He graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he served as deputy editor-in-chief for the Northwestern University Law Review. Before law school, Oren was a professional contract bridge player, teacher, and writer.
