Sean P. Brennan
Sean Brennan has extensive experience representing pharmaceutical companies in products liability litigation. Recognizing that pharmaceutical clients need counsel to plan, early on, how the multitude of cases not taken to trial will be effectively resolved, Sean has focused in recent years on designing and implementing global resolution programs. He has been retained to develop complex global settlements in multi-billion dollar mass tort litigation and to implement these programs from design through completion. The programs Sean has designed and his key role in the resolution of high profile products liability cases have earned him praise from all parties.
Represent Merck in domestic and international products liability matters rising out of the withdrawal of the prescription drug, Vioxx®. One of the core team members responsible for the development of the claim valuation mechanism for the National Settlement Program. Lead lawyer in charge of managing Merck’s ongoing role in implementation of the Settlement Program.
Represent Bayer in products liability matters arising out of gadolinium-based contrast agent, Magnevist®. Assisted with the development and implementation of the National Settlement Program and overall litigation strategy.
